The most recent little backwards steps to correct some omission were putting handrails on stairs (took up time yesterday) and today's addition of a missing piece of trim discovered when checking photos for constructing ice porches.
The ice porch is going together well, too, though we did have to construct new bases, as some measurement got off by a bit. Not sure when or how it happened, and took good notes to make sure it's recorded.
All three bases are done, but the ice porches themselves are not, in part because of the backwards trekking and in part because everything just takes longer than expected.
The roof went together smoothly and fits just fine. That is always a nice moment!
Of course, I did stop along the way to fabricate three grills and an exterior light, and that was a fun diversion. That hadn't been an original part of the plan, and seemed useful.
